Промяната е продиктувана от напредналата възраст и влошеното здравословно състояние на проф., д-р, инж. Стоян Братоев, както и необходимостта да се увеличат темповете на работа в следващите две години, във връзка с реализацията на започнатите проекти за развитие на столичното метро.
Ръководството на „Метрополитен“ ЕАД, ще продължи да разчита на експертизата на проф., д-р, инж. Стоян Братоев. Членовете на съвета изказваха благодарност за неговия принос в планирането, изграждането, развитието и експлоатацията на столичния Метрополитен.“
