България не поставя допълнителни условия пред Република Северна Македония за присъединяването ѝ към Европейския съюз. Отсъства двустранна блокада на преговорния процес. Нашето настояване е за стриктно спазване на европейските критерии. В рамката, договорена с ЕС през 2022 г. въз основа на френското предложение, не са заложени български претенции, а европейски критерии за членство, водещ сред които е защитата на човешките права. Това подчерта вицепрезидентът Илияна Йотова на откриването на форума „Европейският съюз среща Балканите“, на който присъства и европейският комисар по разширяването Марта Кос.

Bulgaria does not set additional conditions before the Republic of Northern Macedonia for its accession to the European Union. There is no bilateral blockade of the negotiation process. Our insistence is about strict adherence to the European criteria. The framework agreed with the EU in 2022 on the basis of the French proposal, no Bulgarian claims were set, but European membership criteria leading to the protection of human rights. This was emphasized by Vice President Iliana Yotova at the opening of the „European Union meeting the Balkans“, which was also attended by the European Commissioner for Expansion Marta Kos.
